1. To begin double-click the DAYScope icon on your desktop
2. Choose the Project
3. Then click "Scan Cards"

1. Set the Date Range
2. Click "OK" after making the changes.

1. Verify correct settings
2. Then click "OK"

1. Inspect surveys.
2. Align all cards so they are going in the same direction.
3. Place cards in document feeder face down with the UniFocus 9- digit ID# facing down and at the top rightas you face the scanner, i.e. head first, face down.

1. The Scanner Settings window will be open before you scan.
2. This will allow you to check the settings each time before you scan cards.
Note: This screen may look different if you are not using the Fujitsu scanner.

1. Check correct settings before scanning cards.
2. Brightness, threshold, and contrast levels may need to be adjusted to produce useable images, but start with 128 and adjust as needed.

After all setting are verified, click the "Scan" button.

If you have more cards to scan, load the additional cards and click "Yes"
Click "No" when finished scanning.

When scanning is complete, you will see a window with thumbnail images of the cards scanned.
Double-click on any image to check image quality prior to transmitting to UniFocus.

When you double-click a thumbnail image to check on scanning success, an image properties window will appear and indicate if the scan was correct.

If bad images have been scanned, they can be deleted before uploading the images to UniFocus.
Highlight the image, click on "Images are BAD, delete & re-scan."
Then click "Yes" to confirm.

When images are ready to be uploaded to UniFocus, click on "Images are OK, send to UniFocus"
Then click "Yes" in the Confirmation window.

Click "OK" when you are connected to the Internet, so that the upload can be completed.
Then click "OK" to complete the process.
