Using the Value Wizard

If you wish to quickly Use the Value Wizard to enter daily rates that vary by the day of the week, use the Value Wizard. The Value Wizard can be used alone or in conjunction with the Adjustment Wizard.

To use the Value Wizard:

  1. In the toolbar, click the Main Menu icon ( Image Added ).
  2. From the drop-down list, under the Financial section, select Budgeting.
    The Budgeting screen appears in a separate tab.
  3. In the 30/60/90 KBI Projections row, click Update/Start.
    The 30/60/90 KBI Projections screen appears.
  4. Click on the Daily tab.
  5. From the Related Tasks drop-down menu, select Value Wizard.
    The Value Wizard Replaces Existing Numbers dialog box appears.
  6. Select the appropriate Forecast Period if it is not already selected.
  7. Select a Market Segment/, Revenue Center Period/, or Other KBI as appropriate.
  8. Select Update Units Only, Update Rates Only, or Update Units and Rates.
  9. Depending on the selection you made in Step 48, click in the Units and/or Rates cell to be edited and enter the new data. Continue entering data as needed.
  10. Click Apply.
    Your changes are applied and the dialog box closes.

Using the Adjustment Wizard

If you wish Use the Adjustment Wizard to adjust the number of units and/or rates, use the Adjustment Wizard.  Note that you

To use the Adjustment Wizard:

  7. Select either Adjust by Percent or Adjust by Amount.
  8. Depending on the selection you made in Step 47, click in the Units and/or Rates cell to be edited and enter the new data. Continue entering data as needed.
  9. Click Apply.
    Your changes are applied and the dialog box closes.
