The Timeline Scheduling screen comprises two main sections:

  • Operations section - At the top of the screen, this section contains menus and search fields that allow you to schedule labor and change screen views.
  • Scheduling section - Under the operations section, the scheduling section consists of a left pane and a schedule pane.
    • Left pane - Depending on your settings, this pane can contain a list of employees, jobs, or statistics.
    • Schedule pane - This pane (or panes, if you are using dual-pane schedule view) displays a schedule in a calendar format. Shifts appear as bars in line with their corresponding employees, jobs, or statistics. The position and length of the shift bar depend on the start and end time of the shift.

What is the default view when you open Timeline Scheduling? When I open Timeline Scheduling, the left pane defaults to Jobs and the schedule pane is empty (until I select a date range).
