Forecast Performance Analysis

Use the Forecast Performance Analysis to compare a Base Dataset and two Comparative Datasets to a Forecast Dataset. At a glance, you will be able to see an overview of the high-level variances between each dataset and the Forecast Dataset, by period, for three periods. There is also a summary section that displays totals for the period, for each dataset.

This report must be configured in the Report Builder prior to running for the first time.

Report Options

Option	Description
Base Dataset	Displays the Year and Type of data that are grouped in an organized manner. This establishes the dataset you want compare.
Comparative Datasets 1 & 2	Displays the Year and Type of data that are grouped in an organized manner. Datasets 1 - 2 are compared with the Forecast Dataset. Year—Select a year of dataset to compare. Type—Select a type of dataset to compare.
Forecast Dataset	Consists of a Year and Type of data that are grouped in an organized manner. Comparative Datasets 1 & 2 are compared to the Forecast Dataset. Year—Select a year of dataset to compare. Type—Select a type of dataset to compare.
End Period	Set the ending period for the report which you are running. The two periods prior to the End Period you selected, as well as the period you selected, will be represented in the report.
