The Owner by Total report is a configurable report that displays a high-level overview of yearly information that is most valuable to owners and stakeholders. It can be used to analyze the overall revenue versus expenses of a profit center. The report displays the year-end profit center totals and evaluates property revenues and expenses by comparing up to three other datasets.

This report must be configured in the /wiki/spaces/UDFRM/pages/351245488 prior to running for the first time. However, this report shares the same configuration as the Owner by Period and Quarterly 30/60/90 reports, so if you have already configured either one of those reports, you would not need to configure this report.

Key Information

  • Provides an overview of profit center totals for the base dataset compared to other datasets.
  • Offers up to three configurable reference datasets.
  • Depending on the options selected, this report will display the following columns: Percent of line, Variances denoting the difference(s) between the datasets, and POR data.
  • Prints in a one-page format typically used by owners.

Configuration options

Base Dataset

Displays the Year and Type of data that are grouped in an organized manner. The Base Dataset is used as the basis against  other datasets.

  • Year—Select a year of dataset.
  • Type—Select a type of dataset.

Comparative Datasets 1, 2, 3, 4

Displays the Year and Type of data that are grouped in an organized manner. Comparative Datasets and  Base Datasets are compared. You can select up to three Comparative Datasets.

  • Year—Select a year of dataset to compare.
  • Type—Select a type of dataset to compare.

Display

Select additional data as needed.

  • Percents—Displays the percent of line data.
  • Variances—Displays the variances between the datasets.
  • POR—Displays the POR data for each dataset.
