Use the I9 tab to indicate whether or not an employee is a citizen of the United States. If the employee is not a citizen, you must enter the applicable information such as the alien registration number and information for the acceptable documents that establish the identity and employment authorization of the employee. 

Information in the tab is READ-ONLY. To edit the information, you must click the Edit button.

Verified byName of the authorized user who is verifying that the employee I9 information is correct.READ-ONLY.

List A OR List B and List C

This section contains information about required documentation:

  • List A documents show both identity and employment authorization of employee.
  • List B documents show identity only.
  • List C documents show employment authorization only.
 
Doc TitleTitle of the acceptable document.READ-ONLY.
Issuing AuthorityName of the authorized organization, country, or territory that is issuing the document.READ-ONLY.
Doc. #Unique identification number of the documentREAD-ONLY.
Exp. DateExpiration date of the document.READ-ONLY.
Control
EditOpens the Edit I9 dialog box, where you can edit the employee's I9 information.
