Post Punch Work Rule
Post Punch work rules allows you to ask an employee a question on the Time Clock after they punch IN, and based on the employee's response, add an earning if appropriate.
Criteria
- No Op Post Punch. Denotes that no question should be asked when an employee punches in.
- Prompt For Fixed Hours Earning. Asks the employee a question after they punch in, and if the response to the question is "No", a fixed amount earning is created.
- Default Message. Allows you to enter the question for which you wish the employee to respond. For example, Was your Break offered to you today?
- Earning Hours. Allows you to determine the number of hours being assigned to the earning. For example, designate the number of hours assigned to the Earning as 1.
- Earning Type. Allows you to determine the Earning Type being assigned to the earning. For example, Holiday.
- Min Hours Worked. Denotes the minimum hours that must be worked before the rule is triggered.
- Resource Message Map. Allows you to select the language on the time clock, in which the question should be asked.
Given the scenario above, an Earning of one hour of Holiday pay would be added to the employee's time card, if the employee answers the Default Message as "No".
- Under-Reported Tips On Out Punch. Prompts the employee when they punch Out, to acknowledge that they have under-reported their tips.
- Default Message. Allows you to enter the message to be displayed on the time clock when the locale cannot be found in the Resource Message Map.
- Resource Message Map. Denotes the JSON string that maps user locate to a message.
- Certification Expiration. Allows you to notify employees that their certification will expire within the configured number of days, for selected punches.
- Back Punch. Notifies an employee of impending expiration when they punch Back.
- Break Punch. Notifies an employee of impending expiration when they punch for a Break.
- In Punch. Notifies an employee of impending expiration when they punch In.
- Out Punch. Notifies an employee of impending expiration when they punch Out.
- Start Days Until Expiration. Denotes the number of days from now to start looking for the expiration date.
- Stop Days Until Expiration. Denotes the number of days from now to stop looking for the expiration date.
- Missing Meal Break. Allows you to alert an employee when they punch Out that they are missing meal break punches, and allows them to manually enter the Breaks.
- Break Time Violation Message. Allows you to enter the message that is displayed on the time clock when the employee enters a Break that is less than the minimum break length.
- First Break Limit. Denotes the number of hours the employee must work before the first Break must be taken.
- First Minimum Shift Length. Denotes the minimum shift length that must be worked before the first Break penalty can be applied.
- First Missing Break Message. Allows you to enter the message that is displayed on the time clock when an employee is missing their first Break.
- Minimum Break Length. Denotes the minimum amount of time that must be taken for the Break, to avoid a penalty.
- No Break Violation Message. Allows you to enter the message that is displayed on the time clock when an employee does not take their required break.
- Second Break Limit. Denotes the number of hours the employee must work before the second Break must be taken.
- Second Minimum Shift Length. Denotes the minimum shift length that must be worked before the second Break penalty can be applied.
- Second Missing Break Message. Allows you to enter the message that is displayed on the time clock when an employee is missing their second Break.
- Use Actual Punch Time. Denotes that non-rounded times should be used.
