  1. In the toolbar, click the Main Menu icon (  ).
  2. From the drop-down list, under the Administration section, select Employee Maintenance.
    The Employee Maintenance screen appears in a separate tab.
    For more information, see Employee Maintenance.
  3. In the employee pane, click the row of the employee you want to edit.

    Note: For information about filtering the employee list, see Filtering employees and information in Employee Maintenance.

    The General tab updates with information for the selected employee.

  4. Click the I9 tab. 
    For more information, see I9 tab - Employee Maintenance
  5. Click Edit.
    The Edit I9 dialog box appears.
  6. Edit the fields as necessary.
    For more information, see Edit I9 dialog box.
  7. Click OK.
    The dialog box closes, and your changes are applied.

Citizenship
U.S. CitizenSelect the check box if the employee is a citizen of the United States. 
Alien No.Alien registration number of the employee, if the employee is not a U.S. citizen.This field is available only if you select the U.S. Citizen check box.
I9 - Identity and Eligibility for Employment
Verified byName of the authorized user who is verifying that the employee I9 information is correct. 
Verified date

Date on which the authorized user (listed in the above field) authorized the employee's I9 information.

Either type the date in the field or select the date from the calendar menu.

 

List A

OR

List B and List C

Select the appropriate check box for the type of documentation:

  • List A – The employee has a single document that shows both identity and employment authorization.
  • List B and List C – The employee has both of the separate documents:
    • List B documents, which show identity only.
    • List C documents, which show employment authorization.

  • List A documents show both identity and employment authorization of employee.
  • List B documents show identity only.
  • List C documents show employment authorization only.

If you select the List A check box, only List A fields are available.

If you select the List B and List C check box, only List B and List C fields are available.

Doc TitleTitle of the acceptable document. 
Issuing AuthorityName of the authorized organization, country, or territory that is issuing the document. 
Doc. #Unique identification number of the document 
Exp. Date

Expiration date of the document.

Either type the date in the field or select the date from the calendar menu.

OKSaves your changes and closes the dialog box. 
CancelCancels your changes and closes the dialog box.
