The Timeline Scheduling screen improves upon many of the features in the Scheduling screen. It enables more efficient viewing and editing of employee shifts and schedules. Combining various timeline views, filters, and color-codes shift bars with an intuitive user interface and easy drag-and drop functionality, Timeline Scheduling offers more user-friendly planning for both computers and mobile devices.
Using Timeline Scheduling, you can do the following:
- Work with dual schedule panes.
- Use the timeline view with context sensitive toolbar to edit selected shifts.
- Add and schedule shifts at the same time.
- Modify shifts and move them to different jobs.
- Select and move single and multiple shifts by dropping and dragging.
- Resize single and multiple shifts by dragging start and end times.
- Delete shifts.
- Cut and paste shifts.
- Fill shifts by double clicking on unfilled shifts
- Move shifts to new times by dragging and dropping.
- Copy a shift to apply to multiple employees.
- Change jobs by dragging and dropping.
