The Employee Requests screen offers three views:

Note: A  A pending request remains in a pending status if there is a conflict or if managers do not change the status before the start date. (Todd is this accurate?)that status until it is approved, denied, or cancelled.

Tasks performed from this screen:

Caution: Changes or cancellations cannot be made after the pay period is closed. If an employee's accrual balance is negative, a warning message appears. Managers can view a past request, but the data is read-only.

Accessing the Employee Requests screen

Do one of the following:

  1. In the toolbar, click the Main Menu icon (

  2. From the drop-down list under the Time & Attendance section, select Employee Requests.

    Or
  1. On the home screen, click Daily Operations.
  2. Click the Employee Request icon ( Image Added ).
    The Employee Requests screen appears in a separate tab.

Fields and controls on the Employee Requests screen

Controls 
Request Type

Select the view for the Employee Requests screen.

Options include:

    • Time Off Requests
    • Availability
    • Shift Requests

Default: Time Off Requests.

Availability Requests/Logs and Shift Requests appear only if an employee has submitted a request through the Mobile App.

2Request Status

Select the request status to display:

    • Pending
    • Approved
    • Denied
    • All
Default: All.
3On or After

Displays requests from a specific date and any requests after that date.

To change the date, either type a date in the field or select a date from the calendar menu.

Default: current date.

Filter Employees

Filters by division, department, or job.

Search

Search for employees by name or employee ID.

Print/Export

Opens a menu to perform the following task:

    • Print
- Prints
    • —Prints the information that is displayed on the screen.
    • Export

    • Exports the information to a CSV file.

The columns that appear in the table depend on which type of requests you are viewing.

  • Add Request

  • —Add a request for an employee.

The Edit Request button is available only if an employee request is selected in the table.

Import Request

Imports a file with requests.

If a company has several employee requests entered in a file, importing the file is quicker and more efficient than manually adding the requests on the Employee Requests screen.
