Holiday Eligibility work work rules determine whether an employee is eligible for holiday pay.
Criteria
- No Holiday. No holiday pay is given.
- Average Day Calculation Period. Indicates the period to be used when calculating average hours for Anniversary Year, Last Two Weeks, Prior Two Quarters, Previous Pay Period, and Last X Days.
- Average Hours Cap. Denotes the cap amount on average hours after which the average hours will be reduced to the average hours cap.
- Days in Work Week. Denotes the number of working days in a typical work week at your property.
- Include Overtime Hours. Indicates that you wish to have overtime hours included in the average day calculations, if selected.
- Last X Days. Indicates the number of days, prior to the holiday, to be used in the calculation.
- Holiday Fixed Hours. Denotes that a fixed number of hours are paid for the holiday, regardless if the employee has worked.
- Average Day Calculation Period. Indicates the period to be used when calculating average hours for Anniversary Year, Last Two Weeks, Prior Two Quarters, Previous Pay Period, and Last X Days.
- Average Hours Cap. Denotes the cap amount on average hours after which the average hours will be reduced to the average hours cap.
- Days in Work Week. Denotes the number of working days in a typical work week at your property.
- Earning. Denotes the type of earning to which the dollar amount should be assigned.
- Eligible If Not Worked. Indicates that an employee is eligible for holiday pay even if they did not work on the holiday, if selected.
- Eligible if Worked. Indicates that the employee is eligible for holiday pay only if they worked on the holiday, if selected
- Factor. Denotes the factor to be used in the calculation. Final earning dollars will be calculated as Hours X Home Job Rate X Factor.
- Fixed Holiday Hours. Denotes the fixed number of hours to be paid for the holiday.
- Include Overtime Hours. Denotes that overtime hours should be used when calculating the average day, if selected.
- Last X Days. Indicates the number of days, prior to the holiday, to be used in the calculation.
- Maximum Average Hours. Denotes the maximum number of hours, after which holiday earnings will not be paid.
- Minimum Average Hours. Denotes the minimum number of hours, before which holiday earnings will be paid.
- Minimum Rate. Denotes the minimum rate at which the holiday earning is paid.
- Start Calculation From. Denotes when the holiday pay calculation starts for the Last X Days and Last X Weeks: Prior Pay Period, Prior Week or Prior Day.
- Work Following Schedule. Denotes that the employee is eligible if they worked on or after the first schedule following the holiday.
- Work Prior to Schedule. Denotes that the employee is eligible if they worked on or after the first schedule prior to the holiday.

- Start Calculation From. Denotes when the holiday pay calculation starts for the Last X Days and Last X Weeks: Prior Pay Period, Prior Week or Prior Day.
- Work Following Schedule. Denotes that the employee is eligible if they worked on or after the first schedule following the holiday.
