Timeline Scheduling provides user-friendly labor planning by combining various timeline views, filters, and color-codes coded shift bars with an intuitive user interface and easy drag-and-drop functionality. An alternative to the Scheduling screen, Timeline Scheduling offers more user-friendly planning for both computers and mobile devices.   

Using Timeline Scheduling, you can do the following:  

  • Work with dual schedule panes.
  • Use the timeline view with context sensitive toolbar to edit selected shifts.
  • Add and schedule shifts at the same time.
  • Modify shifts and move them to different jobs.
  • Select and move single and multiple shifts by dropping and dragging.
  • Resize single and multiple shifts by dragging start and end times.
  • Delete shifts.
  • Cut and paste shifts.
  • Fill shifts by double clicking on unfilled shifts
  • Move shifts to new times by dragging and dropping.
  • Copy a shift to apply to multiple employees.
  • Change jobs by dragging and dropping.
