About the Budget Notes Report

The Budget Notes report allows you to view any notes that were made during the budgeting process. This is especially helpful if you have several people working on the same budget and information needs to be shared.

  • Allows you to view notes made by all users during the budget process.
  • Displays the Code, Budget Line Description, Parent Line Description, GL Account and Notes.

Report Options

Dataset

Select the data you want to be displayed. Datasets display the Year and Type of data that are grouped in an organized manner.

Sort

Sorts the report by Budget Line or GL Account.

Running the Report

To run the report:

  1. Choose Budgeting from the Reports menu.
  2. Click Other and select Budget Notes. The report option screen appears.
  3. Select a Year and Type for the Base Dataset.
  4. Select either Budget Line or GL Account as the Sort method.
  5. Click the Run icon. The report is displayed.
