In previous releasesversions 9.14 through 9.18 of UniFocus release notes, update and hotfix notes appeared in every affected version. For each version of the release notes, the Updates & Hotfixes section of the Release Notes contained links to a page that provided details on updates and hotfixes for that version only. To learn about new changes to the UniFocus software, you had to first navigate to the version-specific Release Notes then click the links to read about each update or hotfix.Starting in this release, details on updates and hotfixes for all versions of the UniFocus RMS software can be viewed from a single, consolidated master list. This page can be accessed directly or and hotfixes notification section included an overview of the issue and a link to the corresponding Fixed issues page.
For example, ticket 19038 was released as a fixed issue in RMS version 9.17, but it was also included as a hotfix to versions 9.14 through 9.16. The fixed issue note for this ticket appeared in Release Notes 9.14, Release Notes 9.15, Release Notes 9.16, and Release Notes 9.17. If you went to the landing page for Release Notes 9.15, the link in the Updates and hotfixes section sent you to the Fixed issues in version 9.15 page.
Starting with Release Notes 9.19, all update and hotfix notes are centralized in the Updates and hotfixes for 9.x releases page.
Using the example above, the note for ticket 19038 is introduced as a fixed issue for the primary Fix Version, 9.17, and then added to the Updates and hotfixes for 9.x releases page. The Updates and hotfixes sections of affected release notes now contain a single link to the Updates and hotfixes for 9.x releases page.
The Updates and hotfixes for 9.x releases page includes the following sections:
- An overview of all updates and hotfixes.
- Detailed notes for updates.
- Detailed notes for hotfixes.
You can access this page by clicking the link in the Updates & Hotfixes and hotfixes section of the version-specific Release Notes. The improved layout offers transparency into what versions are available and which versions are affected by the changes. The new Updates and hotfixes for 9.x releases page contains The overview section contains a table that can be sorted by the following columnsinformation:
- Date—date Date—The date when the update or hotfix was published.
- Ticket—ticket Ticket—The ticket number for the update or hotfix. Click the link to go to the note.
- Overview—a Overview—A summary of the change.
- Category—the Category—The main area component of the UniFocus software that was affected by the change.
- Type—states whether Type—Whether the change was an update or hotfix.
- Updated Versions—UniFocus RMS software Versions—UniFocus RMS software versions that are affected by the change.
Sorting the table:
Click on any column header to change the sort order of the table. For example, if you want to see the newest updates, select click the Date column to move the most recent changes to the top of the list. Select the Updated Versions column to easily navigate to changes that affect your version.

Clicking a link in the table that will bring takes you directly to the corresponding update or hotfix that you would like to read more about. Read an overview of the updates and hotfixes directly in the table or click on the ticket number to read a more detailed explanation of the change.note.
