What Days

Based on Frequency Type:

Daily. Allows you to specify Specify the number of days during the week you wish want the task to be performed.

Weekly. Allows you to specify whether the job is performed every week or every two weeks, as well as designating the exact days the task is to be performed.

Monthly. Allows you to denote Select the day of the month you wish want the task to be performed. You have the option of selection a day of the week or a week and day of the month. For example, you can choose Day 5 (of the month) or you could choose the 1st Sunday of the month. You can also select specific months for the task to be performed.

What Time of the Day

Allows you to specify the time the task is to be performed.

  • Occurs During Shift. Denotes that the task should be performed at some point during a specific Shift.
  • Occurs Once at. Allows you to specify an exact time the task should be performed.
  • Repeats every ___ hours, between ___ and ___. Allows you to specify the number of hours after which the task should be repeated, as well as designating the hours between which the task should be repeated. For example, Repeats every 2 hours, between 8:00 and 16:00.
How much time

Allows you to denote whether the work is Fixed Hours or Variable Hours.

  • Fixed Hours. Allows you to specify the number of hours per day that are required to complete the work.
  • Variable Hours. Allows you to select Select the KBI you wish want to associate with the task.
    • From Volume/To Volume. Denotes the volume range of the standard.
      • Enter 1 in the From Volume field and up to 99999 in the To Volume field, to specify the range. If you don't care about the range, you can specify 0 in the From field and some large number that is bigger than the biggest number the KBI will ever have, in the To field. For example, you use the KBI for Total Rooms. You know that you will never have more than 500 rooms, so you would enter 1 in the From Volume field and 500 in the To Volume field.

Note that if you use a KBI based on the number of rooms, and the time required to perform the variable work increases or decreases with higher volume, you should create and specify additional ranges. Conceivably you can have multiple ranges for each KBI. Be careful to make the top end of the range anumber that is higher than you could ever encounter. In the previous example, if you set the range as 1-500 and then enter 501 rooms (because a room was sold twice in one day), LMS will ignore the 501 and return a 0 standard.

  • Base Hours. Denotes the minimum number of hours that it takes to accomplish the task. These are fixed hours.
  • Additional Hours. Denotes the number of additional hours that may be required to accomplish the task.
  • Per # Units. Denotes the number of units that are to be completed during the criteria set for the task.
