The Employee Requests screen allows you edit an employee's schedule On this screen, you can view and manage employees’ requests for time off and check employees' availability. Changes to shifts can also be made here. This ensures that employees are working hours that are possible and that they are getting paid the right amount for time off. If a manager does not change the status prior to the start date, the request will remain in pending status. If there is a conflict then the request will also remain in pending requests.
This screen has a few default settings which include:

- Time Off Requests
- Availability Requests/Logs
- Shift Requests
The screen opens to the Time Off Requests view by default. Although each view displays different information, all views show the status of each request.

Caution: Changes or cancellations can not cannot be made after the pay period is closed. If the an employee's accrual balance is negative, then a warning will be displayed. A manager can look at message appears. Managers can view a past request, but the data is read-only. |
