You can you your mouse to easily modify and resize shifts in both the Jobs and Employees views on the Timeline Scheduling screen.

Modifying shifts

Use the mouse to change a shift's start and end times.

Modify a shift by dragging

  1. In the schedule pane, hover the pointer over either the left or right side of a shift bar.

  2. When the pointer becomes a double-headed arrow, click and hold the mouse button while moving the end of the bar to the desired position.

  1. In the schedule pane, hold down Ctrl and drag over a group of shifts.
    The borders of the selected shifts are outlined.
  2. Hover the pointer over over either the left or right side of any of the selected shift bars.
  3. When the pointer becomes a double-headed arrow, click and hold the mouse button while moving the end of the bar to the desired position.
    All shifts in the selected group update. 


Can also move a group using the Shift key

 The cut-and-past keyboard shortcut allows you to quickly move one filled or unfilled shift from one job or employee to another job or employee. 

  1. Click a shift bar to select it.
  2. Press Ctrl+X.
    The shift bar is removed from the schedule pane.
  3. Click the area of the schedule pane where you want to paste the shift bar.
  4. Press Ctrl+V.
    The shift bar appears on the schedule pane.
